Tiberius
McLaren Vale Shiraz

In the pantheon of Curtis Winery, Tiberius stands as our emperor—a tribute to the noble Roman lineage that began our family's winemaking journey over 500 years ago. This is not merely our flagship Shiraz; it is the embodiment of everything we've learned, every vintage we've weathered, and every vine we've tended with reverence and precision.

Named for the great Roman emperor who valued tradition and excellence, Tiberius represents the convergence of old-world wisdom and new-world terroir. From our most treasured vineyard blocks, where 60-year-old Shiraz vines have weathered decades of McLaren Vale seasons, this wine captures the very essence of our estate's character and the remarkable vintage that wine critics are already calling legendary.

The Legacy When Paolo Curtis first planted vines on papal lands in 1499, he could hardly have imagined that his descendants would one day craft wines on the terra rossa soils of McLaren Vale. Yet the same reverence for the land, the same patient pursuit of excellence, flows through every bottle of Tiberius. This wine carries forward not just our family name, but our unwavering commitment to creating something truly exceptional—a wine worthy of the Curtis legacy and the ancient vines that produce it.
